3 Day Weekend for a Family Wedding
Hello! We have a 3 day weekend now and going out of state for my adult nephew's wedding. He's 27 and his bride is just a few months younger.
Guess where we are headed.....Arkansas.
That is where the bride's family is from.
Seeing family and going to the wedding will be delightful.
On the other hand, Arkansas. Not my favorite state out of 50.
Lots of bugs. Dead armidilloes on the side of the road.
Dirt roads. Dry state. More bugs.
But, have to say, her family is a lovely group, excellent manners.
I met her parents at the bridal shower last month that was local.
Leaving early AM, between 06 - 07. Another sis & her family will be arriving tonight
for a quick overnight at my home, then I leave with them.
My elderly parents are staying home and another sister will visit them on Sat & be 'on call.' Mom says she just isn't up to the 6* car ride. Plus, I have a CNA that will be checking on Mom & Dad all 3 days. Shhhh! Didn't tell that sister though.
Everybody loves a wedding and a young couple in love!
