So Josh Duggar and his wife are expecting their first child! They got married in Sept. 08 and it seems as though they will be following in his parent's footsteps! What do you all think?

Can I roll my eyes.....Seriously I knew of a family like this growing up...things seemed ok but behind the scenes the 'women' did as they were told and just got used to the idea of being barefoot and PG.

You know, I don't know what to think. With a statement like "Leaving it up to God...", chances are these two are going to have a brood. Yep, barefoot and PG for life.

I watched the one where they got married -- and if you'll believe this one -- they said they hadn't even KISSED before their wedding day.

Where did you read this information. I watched him propose and she agreed with what appeared to be pleasure and excitement.
I think it's annoying that the Duggers are constantly bad mouthed for following God's will. I mean anytime a family decides to follow Biblical standards they're laughed and a HUGE deal is made out of it. They support EVERY one of their children financially and I guess it's not my concern if they want to have one or a dozen as long as my taxes aren't footing the bill.

I don't know if it is on their website, but both her and her husband were talking, she was told by her father that if she believed in god she would agree to marry him.

I try to keep an open mind. And I have always admired the Duggars and their faith and commitment to God. Perhaps it's just because their ways are so different from my own, I don't fully understand them. Their "courtship" and marriage is so different from any views of my own, it almost seems cult-like to me! I'm trying to say this in the nicest, non-judgemental way I can possibly find. I'm sure others on here will criticize me anyway, and I am aware that we all have different beliefs. But that's just it.. The Duggar's beliefs are so different from my own.

The two really didn't know each other until they got married. They had met a few times, the families talked on the phone, etc. But they left it totally up to God and trusted that He was right that Josh and Anna are supposed to be together. This all seems way too simplistic. I don't know... Well, I bet there aren't any divorces in their ways of life! LoL!

Ok I love the duggars personally I think it takes a lot to be able to be so comfortable in your own faith and be willing to share it with others

To SAMUAL her results were withheld from you because SHE wanted it that way...

Now my rant on the situation:
they were married for 4 months when this was filmed. SO on the show tonight she said she had taken SEVERAL pregnancy tests and had got discouraged. Well my rant starts here!!!!

TRY TTC FOR 27 Months then get back to me!!!!

If they are happy that is fine for them , I have issue's with the older Duggars parenting but that is for a different post.

I also seen ths episode he actually first asked her parents and she was very happy to be proposed too and married. She seems over the hill with him she is so touchy feely that doesn't seem like someone who is submissive.
