Default Kaylee has allergies...

I wish it wasn't so but she's taken after her mother and father and she has allergies. Recently we had Santa Ana winds which really made my allergies act up as well as my husbands. Usually they act up the most over night.

Well tonight Kaylee has been up two times so far because she has a stuffy nose. I know it's allergies because I walk into her room and my eyes get itchy and my nose starts to run. I don't know what's in there that is causing this.

I turned on her humidifier for the time being but I'm thinking about buying some Benadryl for her. I know it's the only thing that works for me (I'm going to be taking some soon) and they have a children's formula. I do see the doctor on Thursday for her nine month check up so I'll talk to him about allergies.

It's sad really because I think it might be the cats as well and I don't want to get rid of them but I might have to and that bothers me. But we'll see what the doctor says on Thursday about allergies and treating them.

Anyhow it's 12:30am now and I'm up because she's up and God forbid my husband get up. He sleeps through anything and let me tell you it's ****** annoying.

I too am scared my dd will have an allergy to our cats, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that she isnt allergic to your cats. I'm sorry to hear that she isn't feeling well. If you're noticing your symptoms in her room only, could you move her out of that room until you figure out what's causing it? That might help her sleep a little better.

Well it happens to me in my room so I don't know of anywhere that she'll be fine. When the wind picks up it just gets bad because we live near a mountain so all that stuff blows off onto us.

The humidifier works so I'll just have to start putting that on again at night.

I feel your pain , both of my girls have them as well and we use the Benadryl for kids and it helps them sleep through the night when its bad. We live in Texas and the air is always dry and dusty so we also run the humidifier 24/7. Good Luck.
