Like every other mother, I knew it would happen, sooner or later.

It happens to just about every teenager and their parents.

DS#2 was in his first accident today.

This is why it surprised me so much.
He was with friends
and didn't have one of our cars or the truck with him.

My first response was, "Are you ok?"

His knee hurts a little bit, but outside of being 'bumbed-out'
he's fine. The other kids are ok too.

He and two friends were on two jet skis on the big lake about 30 minutes away.
All 3 had life preservers on and none of them were injured.

This was his first time on a jet ski, let alone driving one.
One of the friends owns both of the jet skis.

Now we need to find out if the owner has insurance.

Crossing my fingers that this won't be costing us an arm and a leg
to help w/ the repair bills.

The good thing is that nobody was injured.

What a way to wrap-up a Wednesday evening!
