Unhappy Labial adhesion and evil doctors

Pippa has it, none of us had heard of it before today, we took her to the doctors this evening as she has had two nappies with a little bit of blood and she has been crying today when she has a wee.

Our usual doctor is off with swine flu, so we saw someone else, he was alright asking what her symptoms were then he had a bit of a play with her so she would relax with him. Then we undressed her bottom half so he could have a look, he looked at her and stormed out the room and came back with another doctor, he was calling us both not so nice things in Welsh, he obviously thought we didn't understand.

He wouldn't shut up when he was examining her again, he told us that she had labial adhesion and we obviously aren't taking correct care of her if we hadn't noticed it. No doctor in the last almost two years has expressed any concern and on the outside her bits look completely normal. So they carried on being rude and gave us a prescription, no mention how to apply it or anything, so when we picked up the prescription the woman at Lloyds took us into the patients room and showed us how to do it, the doctor had ripped her labia apart . She said there was barely any adhesion and the area he tore was meant to be joined together

So now, has antibiotics for her UTI, cream that hurts when you put it on and a ripped vagina that we have to keep cleaning so she doesn't get an infection. To top it off social services are coming round tomorrow to give Pippa a thorough health check and to interview the boys.

We were both absolutely fuming, I managed to keep my mouth shut for once in my life and I'm glad I did now I know the social are coming round tomorrow.

Oh Samuel that sounds like an awful experience. Seems like more and more doctors are losing that good bedside manner. I hope everything goes well with the social services people and that Pippa feels better.

I've never heard of it either! Surely you aren't meant to fiddle around too much down there so how are you meant to know?

I'd complain about the doctor!

Hers is on the inside, I've googled around and some have it on the outer labia, which would be obvious but for Pippa you have to literally get in there to see if anything is going on, not something you would normally do never mind on a regular basis.

The pharmacist has agreed to sign a letter of complaint for us, when social services come round tomorrow and see we've done nothing wrong they will have to sign as well.

Do you think the doctors who do not know you are judging you because you are two men instead of women?

Social workers have come and gone already, they're going to talk to the doctor and the surgery in general to see if any other complaints have been lodged against him. They interviewed the boys but just had to listen to Mikey explain why spiderman is better than batman

The cream is really weird, this morning it had dried to Pippa, most of it came of in the bath but some had to be peeled off which has made her sore. She is swollen too, I'm not surprised though.

The surgery manager is going to phone us later as she wasn't in last night, so we'll have to see what she has to say.

My cousins little girl had this from birth on. They used a hormone creme and it doesn't exsist anymore.
Sounds like a horrible experience. Glad Mikey enjoyed telling him about his action characters!

Our GP normal GP is coming out to look at Pippa tomorrow, her bits look like one of my STD slides I use for school, tonight we have had to tape her nappy to her with plaster tape as she keeps scratching herself.
