Default This has to freaking stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay morning sickness...

I had morning sickness briefly with all of my pregnancies...but NOTHING even remotely like this. I literally CANNOT keep anything down...and I do mean anything. Even water comes right back up.

WTF right?!?!

I am *losing* weight...that is really uncool!!! I was (am) underweight to begin with and can't really afford to lose anymore while pregnant...this has to end!!!! I've tried ginger and saltines and flat ginger ale....nothing works!!!!

Help?

Hope it gets better....Try lots of fruit...watermelon...grapes..it keeps you hydrated and helps a lot...Don't drink milk though...I remember m/s and I would (TMI) throw up chunks...literally...it was so gross!!

Join the club! I know exactly where you are. Last week I spend three days in hospital for a IV to rehydrate me. I've a little better during the day but still very bad at night. Nothing stays down, not even water. I've living on a few slices of toast and some fruit but I've lost 12 pounds!

Can't you get your doc to give you medication for the nausea?

I've been there twice. It was horriable. My OB gave me phenegan with my first and it worked good. It makes you sleepy though. With my second it was so bad phenegan wouldn't work. They had to give me something stronger. I don't remember what is is called, sorry. Anyways, I would just talk to your OB, they should be able to give you something that will help. There are also stuff over the counter you can take, I would just ask. I'm so sorry, hope you feel better! But just think...it is all worth it in the end!!!

For me nothing they can safely give me helps at all! I'm not prepared to take a chance with something that isn't safe.

Honey if you're losing a lot of weight you may have Hyperemisis Gravidrum (sp?) google it and see ig you are having those problems and call your doctor. If this sounds like your problems you may need to be medicated ASAP to prevent hospitalization. The sooner you recognize the symptoms the better for both you and your baby.

Have you tried Zofran? It's very expensive (designed for people in chemo and post-op) I've been rx'd to it because it's supposed to be a lot better but I haven't filled the rx because it seems a little extreme.
