i was lying in bed and woke up to bad pains in my upper belly like gas pains kinda but really intense and constant...any one else have these?

Sounds like early signs of labor to me!!! With DS that's exactly what I felt- I thought I had eaten too much dairy and was a little gassy... but when it didn't go away and kept coming back every 5 minutes after 3 hours, I called my mom who in turn told me to call my DR- and by the time I got to the hospital that morning I was already 3-4!!

You are close enough it could be early contractions!! Good luck!
