Hopefully this link will work. I got my medical records today. By their own timelines and their own statements, Damien was showing distress 13 minutes (yes minutes) after I was in labor and delivery. Approximately every ten minutes after that he was showing problems enough to set off an alarm on the heart rate monitor. On top of that my bp was going up and my bpm kept going down. At one point my bp was 158/94 with a bpm of 70. At another point shortly thereafter my heartrate went down as low as 65 bpm. I never once knew that I was that close to trouble. That is just another log on the fire of my bitterness/disillusionment. I also found out that the pending case deals with the death of a mother due to the other officer ignoring symptoms. The child in that case survived. However the mother passed on due to bacterial meningitus being undiagnosed.
I have to say that I am thankful that I did end up with the lawyer that I have. However, it does freak me out a little on all of the coincidences that are falling into place here. Of all the lawyers and all of the doctors that I could have had. Kinda freaky. All of this on top of the fact that my angel should be celebrating turning one month old today. Oy vey.
