Hello! I've been a member all of my life (since I was 2.) My parents were converts, and I have wonderful memories of being sealed to them.

I'm a SAHM to two wonderful little boys. My husband is an inactive convert. It's hard, because I want to be sealed so badly. On some levels, it may look like he joined just to be married, but we've had many discussions and I think it was a factor of several things. I'm just trying to be patient, love him and raise our children right.
I found these boards today, and I'm glad I did. I'm looking forward to making some friends.

Well hello!!!!!!! Its nice to see you. My husband is a convert and he seams to struggle more with the gospel too - mostly its life style is 100% opposite of how he was raised. I was raised in the church so its normal to me. Maybe your husband just has a difficult time leaving his old life behind??

patience and love are the best. keep it up!!!!!!!

Hi! I've been a member of the Church for 3.5 yrs now - I met my husband who was the first "Mormon" I had ever really spoken to and he baptised me two weeks later. We waited a year to be married and were sealed in the temple! I am the happiest girl in the world b/c of the blessings that I've seen since my conversion - it is REALLY amazing!

I'm Laura, Mom to Lucas, almost 4, & Isabelle, almost 3. We are not LDS, but are considering. We moved from Ohio to Utah in Jan of this year. Is anyone here actually living in Utah now? We've been to services once, but my kids were so bad, we could not stay for classes. =( Our elders visit us regularly (one is from MT, not sure about the other, & they actually drive a car! =) . Very sweet young men, they are. Anyway, hi! =)

Hi! Welcome. I don't live in Utah now, but I grew up there. What part are you living in? I grew up in West Jordan. Did you try taking your kids to the children's classes or had you just had enough and were ready to go? I have had days that feel that way. I've got three. My oldest is five. Some Sunday's are rough, but my kids love Primary and Nursery. Feel free to ask any questions.

I'm in WJ! =) Not sure how long it's been since you've been to UT, but, boy, has it grown! =) I'm all the way 'out' in a development by 111, 'bacchus hwy'. =) We went to services the 1st Sunday of the mos, which, I'm told is the 'speaking' Sunday. Ugh, now I can't remember what my neighbor called it! =) Testoments, testomony?????? Commitments? Something like that. I was ready to stay, but DD had pooped (& we had no 'spare') & DS was freaking out (which he seldom does =( ) , so we decided, for everyone's sense of smell & hearing, it was best to 'try again'.

My friends call me Elle. I have a great RM husband who is studying for his masters and works FT so I can stay at home with our DS who just turned two (we are currently trying for another baby). We were married in 2003, and sealed in the temple in 2004. We moved from England to Scotland last year.
I am a convert, I was baptised in september 2002, just under 5 years ago now - how times fly.
I was the first member in my family to be baptised and have received much oppostion, but my testimony have been strengthened by this greatly. I have found obedience is the best medicine (Oh, and laughing when things seem dire helps - A LOT !!)
The temple is my favourite place in all the world !!! (I'd move in if they'd let me )
