Default Learning how to sew!

DH got me a sewing machine for Christmas, and it just came in yesterday! Today I went to the Hobby store, bought some fabric pieces, thread. I came home, opened up the instruction booklet and learned how to use a sewing machine! I have never sewed before. It is so much fun! I even made a little hand bag....not much to look at, but i am very proud of myself and had a lot of fun doing it! I signed up for a beginners sewing class that starts at the end of the month and i couldn't be more excited!!

That's fabulous! My mom and grandma both have sewing machines, and I still haven't learned to use one!

i learned how to sew three years ago and trust me it is so fun especially when you sew together an out fit from scratch it so liberating to see all these pieces and you put them together like a puzzle and you've made a shirt or skirt you appreciate the people who make clothes for a living.

My mom sews for fun, and for a living! She loves it. She made a lot of stuff for my sister and I growing up. We both learned how to sew at a young age. It is so much fun!! She is now making stuff for my nephew and for my daughter on the way. It's nice! Good Luck! I hope you enjoy it!
