Right now, my stove has nearly died, the broiler burner is hanging and it must be 30 years old or older. My step-son just built a new home and put in a beautiful six-burner gas stove. I think we only have space for a 4-burner stove, but I like the idea of a gas-stove. Is this a bad idea?

I would definitely make it bigger. Specifically: knock out the wall between kitchen and den and just open it up. Right now you can barely fit two people at the counter and stove, and the table barely fits four plus food.

I'd put in more cabinets and a pantry! Oh yeah, and have a personal chef and housekeeper, lol!!

I renovated my kitchen this summer and now I have my dream kitchen. I took out walls and made it bigger and got new cabinets!!
