Default LF 5/15 purchase help/advice

I got a 5/15 Life Fitness crt - can I use this on say vitamins that are 8.89 and BOGO? along with a 3/10 cvs purchase? or would I have to make the total of 15 after the bogo so would have to buy 4?
So it would be 8.89 + 8.89 = 17.78 - 5/15= 12.78 - 3/10cvs = 9.78 - 8.89 (bogo) = .89... okay and then if you did that and say bought some other stuff, could I also use the $3 of LF booklet q? or will the third q not go through because its part of the deal with the same items as the other two coupons, even if I bought enough fillers to cover the amount of coupons used?
I'm thinking a second option could be to buy 4 vitamins totaling 17.78 after the bogo - use the 5/15cvs and the 5/15 LF vitamin crt and the $3/ one LF coupone and then a 3/10 cvs purchase - total would be 1.78 oop.. would this work?
Would like to do this today if anyone knows, please let me know asap... would appreciate any experience you have with this...

I think the 2nd option will work. the 1st one wouldn't b/c the register takes off the bogo before coupons.

It all depends on when the cashier hits the total button. If she hits it before she enters the q's it won't work, but if she enters the q's first and then totals it then it might work... A few weeks ago there was haircolor on sale BOGO at CVS and there was also a BOGO coupon. When I went, the cashier entered all of the coupons, and then hit total - it was only then that the BOGO from CVS came off. I guess this is another YMMV situation. Personally I would go for the 4 bottles of vitamins - that way you don't have to waste anything buying fillers. That is pretty darn cheap for 4 bottles!!

This is what I ended up doing.
I bought 4 Mens cvs vitimins for 8.89 each + BOGO and two small Always pantiliners.
I was able to use a 5/30 coupon because they scanned the coupons before they totaled it..I also used a 5/15 LF vitamin purchase, a 3/10 cvs purchase and the $3 LF coupon. Paid with a $4 ecb and .99 oop and will earn $3 ecbs for the pads. So basically spent $2 for everything.
after the first 5/30 all the other coupons beeped and the manager had to come over and he figured out a way to get them all on there and got them through. Then he proceeded to tell me he couldn't take the ecb because I had as many coupons as items- which i disagreed with, becuase the Bogo show up as coupons, but are really a sale price - and asked him to try, he again said no, then I asked again to try, he finally did it went right through and then he made an excuse and said "oh it's because it was an ecb, that why it went through".. pretty sure he knew it was an ecb before when he was refusing to scan...the manager was very crotchety and not very nice, went to this store in particular today because the cashier is usually very nice, unfortunately she had to call the manager over...
