Default Light at the end of the tunnel

Hello everyone! I have been reading a lot of the entries and is good to know that there are others going trough the same. I am 11 weeks and starting week 5 I was a mess...all I wanted to do was eat and if I didnt eat I would get sick as a dog (with a lot of nausea not vomiting yet) I was miscerable tired and I did not have the energy to do much around the house...my beutiful new home made me sick...wallking in the kitchen discussed me and no meals were prepared by me for weeks (this is my second marriage and I have an 8 year old son from previous marriage but hubby has no kids and has never been around a pregnant woman before) My husband was comfused and tired from all the extra work he was having to do around the house (He is a nuclear engineer and part time student) one day during week 7 when the symptoms worsen he actually had the nerve to say that he had ask some buddies at work how thir wives behave during pregnancy and they all told him it was great that most of them worked until they were 8 months. I felt so betryed and lonely ( we are new to the area and have no family or friends around) we got in to a huge argument and I told him to do his homework online because from what I was reading there is plenty of women going trhough the same. Week 9 I started vomiting and coul not keep anything down an a few days later I was not just vomiting but I also had severe diahrea. Went to the emergency room and found out that I had a stomach flu on top of my already severe mornng sickness... there all the nurses explained to my DH how normal this is and how horrible it can be for some women... he felt so guilty and has not stop apoligizing since..I spent 3 days in the hospital hooked to an IV. Today is the first day of week 11 and for about 5 days now I have gotten so much better...got a little more energy and I can actually cook again. My son and I will be going to visit my parents next week for 2 weeks and I can wait to be around mom and have her take care of me like only she knows how. For all you ladies that are suffering please do know that it will all go away in a few weeks and once you come out of it and start to get that little bump is all worth it.
