I looked at your blog. . .I like it! We also have a frugal blog here at families! I would encourage you to put the link to the blog in your signature and then you also need to add us (either the frugal blog at families or just families.com) to your blog roll. But welcome!

So here's a question (or rather a challenge) for you. You say you're trying to live on $2000 per month or less. For a family of how many? (If you don't mind my asking.) And would you describe your rent (which you list on your expenses page on your blog) as average, cheap or expensive where you live?

I ask bc until recently we didn't even have $2000 per month live off of. We lived on less.
