Default Logan Ryan was born 11/15 at 35 weeks

Hey everyone.
I'm not happy to be posting this so soon. Logan was born 11/15 at 9:11 pm. He was 7.04lbs and 18 3/4 inches long. Here's his story.

I had been taken off the meds on thursday. Friday I was contracting all day but ignored it as best as I could. Sat I waiting as long as I could before I went down. By the time I got there I was contracting every 1-2 mins and was dialating. They rushed us into surgery. He went right from the womb to the NICU. I saw him for about a half a second. They kept him there for two days then transfered him to a level 3 NICU on day three. He's on a vent and has had a blood transfusion. This morning they did an ultrasound of his brain and said there might be a problem with his Serebelum (SP?) So now we are waiting for an MRI to tell us more but first he needs to get off the vent. I don't know what else to type, or how to feel. I feel like I lost the baby even tho I can see him I can't touch or hold him. I can't even hear him cry. He's still in the warming bed. I find it funny that I want to see my baby in an incubator. But I'm going to sit with him again. Just waiting on his next Blood Gas.

's I am so sorry. My little girl was in the NICU too but she was actually pretty heathy. I understand about feeling like you lost the baby though. I am praying for little Logan and hope they find nothing wrong and that he gets to come home very soon!!

I am praying for Logan!
Kalen was in the NICU for 6 days and was on oxygen and all hooked up to tubes. It was so hard not to hold him! But i was able to hold his little hand.
Hang in there, i am sure Logan will be better soon, babies are sooo resiliant!
He can hear you talking to him and knows you're next to him. So just keeping telling him how much you love him and know that God is taking good care of him.

My first son was born at 35 weeks, but was healthy... However, my second was born at 37 weeks and had a lot of problems. He was on oxygen for awhile ( I won't go into the rest, I don't want to scare you) and I couldn't hold him, and they didn't let me see him for awhile. It was rough. I felt like he wasn't born yet or that he didn't exist... It was horrible. I am sooo sorry. I hope things start looking up for you. Try and hang in there honey.

So sorry to hear that he came early! I hope everything takes a turn for the better in the next couple of days. Just keep talking to him! And keep us updated.
