Longest fit streak?
What's the longest crying/whining/yelling fit streak your child has been on?
Alyssa's been at it since 11:30 so we're going on 3 hours here.

one constant streak or an "i'm okay for about 3 minutes, then i'll start all over again about something else." ?
the first one, maybe 20 minutes.
however, we've had the 2nd one a couple of times & it lasted from 9 AM to about 2 the next morning. every. little. thing. would upset her. didn't matter if it was a "hi" "bye" "no" or even "juice?" "ice cream?" (yes, it did get to the point of bribery!)

i haven't been following every post but i know you suspect autism; a lot of autistic kids can go for hours and hours on just one huge fit (usually has to do with being over stimulated)
i think the longest with Gabby was end of Christmas, she was just so overwhelmed, about 15mins... but we have had those days where every little thing upsets her

Mikey used to quite often scream his head off and cry for hours, it hasn't happened for a few months so now we so are hoping it wont happen again, now it is Jamie's turn and he is definitely giving Mike's a run for his money.

my son maybe 10min and when he sees knowone is paying attention to him he eventually stops, I find when you pay attention it never stops so I have learned how to deal with his fits of insanity.

The first time we really put our foot down with Jack it was between 4 and 5 hours. That was before his brain injury.

Kylie...I was thinking that, and that's why I wanted to see if that was normal behavior. I mean, she is a little over 2 1/2 now. Its hard to tell. Most of its fits over the word "no". All I have to do is say it, and she starts wailing and doesn't stop. Its ridiculous. I figured she is just starting to learn boundaries?

Jaxon went on for about three hours one night and it all started from a nightmare. It must have really scared him. We took him to the ER since we were not sure if he was throwing a fit or having a seizure or if he was still sleeping. Turned out once the nurse came in and drew blood and checked his vitals everything was fine. I wanted to shoot myself. It was so unbearable. He still does big fits every now and then but not much compared to that night. His most recent was about 30 mins.
