Hello. I have had an extremely negative experience with the findings of my birthmother. I am currently in the process of writing a book about my experience, but would like to know if anyone knows of any books positive or negative about stories that are told about what happened when the adoptee found his/her birthmother or sperm donor?
Also, does anyone know of any support groups for this type of thing. I am having a hard time dealing with this.
My step mother was adopted and she didn't find any of her family until this year. She's in her 50s . Her mother had actually passed away 6 months before her siblings didn't want to have anything to do with her. But she did find an uncle who she met and talks to now. She feels she has closer atleast.
