Talking Make $12 Before Tax buying eTrust™ EZ Armor™/PestPatrol Internet Protection Bundle

July 31 - Aug. 6.

Limit Three $30 rebates per househould. On sale $29.94.

So with 12% coupon here

http://www.stapleslink.com/html/port...pCard_July.pdf

and 2% Staples rewards. You buy three and make about $12.60 before postage/tax with $90 rebates.

Here is fatwallet link for this:

http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/mess...hreadid=497265

I have $8 Staples rewards and will make $18 after 12% discount, tax, CC 1% reward, Staples Rewards and rebate/postage. -

Also, that will push me over $1000 purchase this year to upgrade to gold membership (thanks to these Peachtree and Router Deals.). With gold membership, I will get 5% rewards up to $30 per quarter!

Note that rebate only requires copy UPC. So I can still return software to store in case rebates have trouble.

If anyone has in store $15/75 or $10/$40 coupon sent to rewards member by mail, it would be even hotter!

Too bad I have used all these coupons sent to me recently.

BTW, how do I get Staples to send me some coupons in the mail? I get emails from them about deals, but never get snail mail coupons. Thanks.
If you got reward #, then in your profile on rewards membership website, make sure the option to receive saving through email is turned on. Normally these coupon in Staples email can be both used online or printed out for in store use. HTH.

Not sure if these have yardsale value?? If $5 a piece, then it is $15 Profit.

Also, this AT&T Cordless Phone with answering machine $9.99 after $20 easy rebate. And rebate limit is 10 per household.

I had both the OP rebate mentioned and the phone one circled in my ad...

I didn't notice the Ez Armor/Pest Patrol was mail in rebate though. Darnit I like ez rebates with staples better. I have the 12% discount printed out but I never get any other cpns either.

That's cool about going gold. Once you go gold- do you have to buy $1000 per year to stay gold? Or are you gold forever?

It's maximum $30 a year with 5% as gold member- what's the max if you aren't gold? I'm guessing it's less than $30? I got $6 for last quarter.

I'm figuring $6.12 profit here (using 12% discount + tax) -- then staples rewards later will be a cpl dollars on 3 of those and the phone (not counting what I have bought recently and the peachtree and all that). That just about pays for the phone and I could use another cordless one anyway.

Talking Re: Make $12 Before Tax buying eTrust™ EZ Armor™/PestPatrol Internet Protection Bundle

I just bought anther two $20 off $100 in store coupon from Ebay. Seller provided the URL link so you can print out the instore coupon.

So I will use two orderes

(1)Three eTrust Software and One Phone
(2)Four Phones

Note that household limit for the $20 Phone Rebate is TEN! -

And each order used 12% discount and $20 off $100 coupon

And after tax, credit card 1% reward, staples rewards, postage for software rebate and ebay coupon fee, I will make about $6.5 with the following free:

Three Etrust software
FIVE AT&T Cordless Phone with answering machine (Should at least net $10 yardsale each)

And I also will use the last $8.00 reward check from Staples so shall be $14.5 profit total with free stuff.

After yardsale, that will be at least $70 profit. -

Need to take my cat to vet tommorrow so just in time to make some $$ for this.

I think once you are gold, no matter how much you buy, you stay gold. -

So you got 5% per quarter max $30 rewards (Without mininum of $200 purchase per quarter to get reward!).

Note that phone rebate limit is TEN. So buying mutliple and stack 12% discount with $ off coupon will net you fat profit. -

I'm just going to buy one phone- no profit... just cheap because I need one.

The others- I haven't decided on yet... they are free with a tiny bit of profit- once the rebate comes back... if it ever does. I'm leary of the mail in rebates.

So you don't know what the limit of the rewards is if you are NOT gold? I'm assuming it's less than $30.

For ordinary reward member, quarterly reward limit is $15 if qualified purchase (after CPN) over $200. 2% Reward.

For Gold member, quarterly reward limit is $30 if qualified purchase (after CPN) over $200. 5% Reward

OK. I dropped by Staples on way to work and got the following:

*Nine AT&T phones with answering system
*Three Etrust Armor Bundle software

I used Three $20.00 off $100 Coupon (paid about $3.7 each from ebay and was given URL for printout), 12% associate coupon and $8 reward check I just received. I did three transactions. Fortunately they got enough phones in stock for me. -

I paid $274(including $10 Eaby Coupon Fee) will got $270 rebate back ($90 mail-in rebate for software and $180 easyrebate for phone).

So that is $4 after rebate.

Also figure in the $2.6 Credit Card Reward, $5.00 and .37 postage for mail-in rebate, I actually will make $3.00 profit on the deal and got all the following FREE:

*Nine AT&T phones with answering system
*Three Etrust Armor Bundle software

Also, after this deal I will be upgraded to Gold Reward Memebership so next quarter I will get 5% reward as long as I spend over $200 purchase per quarter.

I shall be able to sell the phone for $15 each at yardsale so that is $135 Profit.

That more than offset the $89 Vet Bill for my cat this morning. My cat has pus and blister on her tail and the vet said probably she is bitten by other cats while I let her out in the yard two days ago. Yuck!

I just bought another $30/$150 from ebay for $4.30 and will use that and 12% off discount sheet to get anther six phones. I did call and let them put on hold for me. I was told there is plenty in stock.

So with that purchase:

After rebate, tax, rewards, I only paid $15 and get the following

Fiften Cordless Phone with Answering Machine (Limit 10 per address, I got 5 for my parents' address)
Three Entrust Antivirus/Spyware.

Phone yardsale for $15 each so profit on that will be $210!!!

I think I am ready for another yardsale if DW agrees.

By the way, here is review for this phone:

Well I missed out on the phones- they are completely out here and checked all local stores within an hour's drive- all of them are out of them! I know I should have done it sooner but I've been so busy all week. And all I wanted was one- and since even after the rebate it wasn't FREE... I didn't think they'd run out that quickly. Even FAR items don't seem to run out at my local store (I live in a small town and it doesn't seem like people flock to Staples even on FAR items here). But they were all gone. Ohwell.

I did get one of the Ez Armor/Pest Patrol- because I couldn't remember if this was limit of 3 or not and they couldn't tell me there. I had to wait until I saw the receipt- then promptly forgot to look at the rebate before leaving the store. Sure enough it says limit 3. Now I can buy two more like I did this one- with 12% off cpn and make a little (over the 7.75% tax rate here) -and I might even USE/KEEP one set if you think they work well? The other two I'd give away or sell in yard sale or something. For some reason this rebate doesn't bother me as much... since it's actually a rebate printed at the store and making money with only that one rebate (as opposed to only making money on the Peactree if I can get the 2nd rebate made valid by calling because both rebates can't have the original UPC and all that).

I have 2 questions though- hoping someone can answer them?

First off- it says to send this in with original UPC- is that the one that is stuck to the plastic outer covering of these 2 that are sold in a bundle? It has to be- because there ARE no other UPCs on the individual boxes once you remove that plastic covering.
??

And secondly- since it's limit of 3 per household- do they all have to be sent/mailed in seperately? Or can I go buy 2 more tomorrow and mail all 3 rebates in the same envie?

LMK please?

The rebate form on web says copy or original UPC. The rebate form I got in store says original UPC. I will use store form and send in original UPC. It is the UPC on the plastic, not cut off from individual box, since it is a BUNDLE software.

I bought three software one receipt. So I will fill out all three rebate forms and then send in together. I will attach a note saying I qualify for three rebates.

If I were you, I will send in two envelopes for rebate, one for each receipt. You might have problem if you send in three envelope since two of these will have same receipt and the rebate center may think you are trying to double dip???

HTH.
