Hello ladies. Sorry it's been so long since I've been on. It's been a hectic couple of weeks for us. My whole house had the flu (starting with my poor Benjamin who picked it up from the kids at daycare). Then kind of at the same time and just up until a couple days ago he was cranky and had the runs and yadda yadda. I thought the flu was taking an awful long time to go away so one day I stuck my finger in his mouth and lo and behold there are two teeth that came through on the bottom. I think there is one getting pretty close on the top too, but we will see. I'm just glad it wasn't the flu lasting all that time! My little guy can't even get the flu shot for at least a couple more weeks (when he's six months old).

I hope everyone is doing good. Sorry I don't have time to post individually to each of you right now. I am pretty busy at work But at least it's Friday!! Have a good weekend everyone. Will talk to you soon.

Hello ladies! The biting issues seem to be gone for now. I honestly think it was just because she was so stuffy and couldn't breeth! She bit me a couple of times Monday morning when I got home from work and I resorted to giving her a bottle. She hasn't bit me on the BB since then. I do think that she is just going to be a "biter" though.....every time someone picks her up the first thing she tries to do is bite their chin...I have told every one to watch out and that is she acts as if she is going to bite to tell her in a firm voice to not bite. The last couple of days it seems to work.....
As for the stuffy issues...I called her pedi and she was out of the office for the whole week; so the nurse told me to get her some Tylenol Cold and Little Noses. To make a long story short Wal-Mart doesn't carry the plain Tylenol Cold any more...they have the Tylenol Cold and Cough, but since she really didn't have a cough I didn't want to give her anything for that...the pharmacist also told me that he thought that was too much for a six month old; so he suggested Pedia Care. It worked pretty good, but she was very very whiney from it. Then she started sticking her thumb in her ear and fussing. I couldn't get in to see a pedi so I took her to the ER...she wasn't THAT sick, but I didn't want it to get any worse. The ER dr said her left ear was slightly infected and gave me some antibiotics to give her. She is soooo much better now! I also got her her first part of the flu shot and she didn't even know when the needle went in!!!
Go to run....I am at work and they just brought me something to do...I will get on later in the afternoon and finish...Hope you are all having a good day!!!!!!!!!

Hi there Ladies!! Sorry I have been MIA we were out of town for the weekend and since we got back it has been just crazy. I am also trying to get ready hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my house!

So it sounds like all the little ones are getting teeth. I thought we were but Nope No Teeth yet. Which I have to say is just fine with me!

Amanda - I am so sorry life is crazy for you right now. Hopefully it will all settle down soon with school done for a bit and being moved in. I'm here if you need to chat!!! or vent or whatever!

Oh I sure do hope that little Benny and Zoie are both feeling better.... I know it's that time of year. The little girl I watch has Roseola.. so i have been watching her at her house and luckly DH is on vacation right now so he has been keeping Landon.. It's been good and bad.. I miss being with my baby all day. However DH has realized that my day is not a piece of cake like he seemed to think it was! So it's been a blessing in disquise for us really.
As for the christmas shopping well we purchased Landon the baby gymnastics tunnel thing yesterday ( FP I think??) and the Leap Frog Activity Center and a Stacking toy! He will be getting a Radio Flyer Wagon and the Roll a Rounds Dino, and I believe the FP Zebra ride on thing to from family. Along with a ton of other goodies....
We had Family photo's and 6 month photo's done recently and are doing those for gifts for grandparents and such, I'm just going to frame them!
How about Christmas cards? Anyone got those set yet? We have ours ready to be ordered. I am doing them thru snapfish as they were pretty cheap I think it was $32 for 60 of them with a photo of Landon on them...I figured that was cheaper than doing cards, plus buying enough wallets for everone too...
Well I am off.. Hope everyone has a great Holiday!!!

Annie where are you???

Hey Ladies - So how was everyone's Holiday? Anyone out shopping today? I am not going shopping, however I am hitting a HUGE craft show with my mom. We do it every year. It actually cost to get in and there are over 300 vendor's. they are the best of the best too, there is a selection process to getting in so it's all good stuff! I can't wait. Only bad thing is we are taking Landon and there are no stroller's on Friday and Saturday. Of course if we waited until Sunday there would be nothing left!
Dinner went well Yesterday, we gave Landon a spoon and some mashed potato's and he was in heaven.. Loved them. Didn't want the squash after that! also gave him a few small bites of turkey. NOt sure he cared for them.
Annie - I saw the photo of you and Max in the pool How cute!! will you go again? I really should check into them for Landon
Hope everyone's Little one is feeling well!!
Amanda - How's the house? Hope your spirits are up!!!
Heather

hello!
we had a great Turkey day I'm tired from all the cooking but it was fun and very yummy!!
Carrie - i hope everyone is over the flu and that Benny is doing well with teething. did you get a few days off work for the holiday?

Amanda - are you feeling any better? ((hugs)) to you.

Heather - i'm not going shopping today - well maybe online i don't want to deal with crowds... yesterday i got the toy box i wanted for Max for $32 at BRU online and free shipping - in stores it was $70!! so excited - shhhh don't tell Max
We start the next swim class this coming wednesday and there are 10 moms from the moms club in it!! oh and DH took the day off since my il's are here so he is coming along

how exciting that Landon liked the potatoes!!!! Max started eating / liking the purely-o's yesterday!! it keeps him greatly entertained at the table and i can finally eat dinner w/ 2 hands
i hope you have a great time at the craft fair - sounds like a huge event!!!\

breakfast time - hope to hear from all of you soon.

Annie - That is great about the toy box.. we were on the hunt for one for Landon too.. they are so expensive to get a good one. I ended up asking my dad to make him one. I thought we would buy the materials.. but my dad got so excited and kinda took over.. So now it's his thing. which I am totally ok with it will be nice to have later on when he looks back and know's grampa made it for him.
Annie- Can max get the purley-o's to his mouth on his own. Landon has been doing the multi grain cheerio's.. usually he just spreads them around his tray.. on occation he accidentally gets one to his mouth.. It's all a control game though.. he HATES it when you put it in his mouth for him..We have figured out that he would prefer to either feed himself or not eat at all. So Dinner time here is pretty messy.. I've been trying to shovel it in with one spoon while he eats with the other..
So we are back tracking here.. He for the last few nights has gotten up every 2 hours.. it's totally killing us.. I think it might be lack of him eatting but I can't force feed him... Can I add some cereal to the breast milk bottle? I really don't want to give him formula.. but he's killing me..
