Default Megans MRI,EEG and other test results

well this week was a very busy week with Megan. She had her MRI and EEG on Monday both were normal, but after talking with the doctor he did say the her eye rolling wnd muscles twitches are sizures. Megan was put on depokote. It was sad for me to have to put my 11month old on med for suizures. Megans swallow test showed that she is swallow properly, so thats good. Her hearing test she didn't respond, but this is common in young children. so they will do another test with her asleep. this will happend at the end of June. also some blood test results came back abnormal in the chromsonal testing. they found a problem with chromsome 15, there are some scarry posibbilties. but we will see a geneticist on thurday. so hopefully I know soon what I dealing with. I just can't beleive all this is happending to my baby girl. I though she was having seizures and she is deveoplmentally delayed, but I( never imaged chromosmal problems. Laurie

(((HUGS))) It sounds like you got some good news with the MRI and EEG. I'm sure it's overwhelming at times. Hang in there. Once you know what you're dealing with, you can make a plan of action.

So glad that you are following up with all the doctors and professionals
to determine the best course of action and treatment plan.

Will she be going to physical or occupational therapy?
Early intervention is always the best plan.

Prayers for you and your daughter.

The most important thing of all......that you love your little sweetie!

Laurie I have a friend whose child has an extra Chromosome 15--she is a member of some support group--let me know if you want me to get more information.
