I don't know about the ST....I think I am her teacher! The first therapist she had was supposed to see her once a week, but wound up cancelling with some exucse every other week, and didn't make up the visits. Our First Steps counselor was furious and assigned me a new one which Alyssa saw for the first time today. BUT now poor Alyssa has to get used to someone else!
The developmental therapist is okay. Alyssa doesn't really like her and hides her eyes through whole visits sometimes. But I think it is good to sometimes take her out of her comfort level.
I see lots of changes in her. My baby girl is just so smart! She understands words...but is just not saying them. She babbles ALL the time in her own little language. She calls me "nana" now which is ok. Its one step closer to mama, and at least she has a word for me now. Yay! She listens to me really well, also. The improvement on her eye contact and pointing skills are just phenomenal!
And my mom is doing well too...thank you! She's not so sick anymore, but she is pretty tired. She ordered some vitamins off an infomercial that are supposed to help cancer patients gain energy, so we'll see how that goes. But overall, things are okay.

Thanks everyone else for the delightful comments. I am so proud of my baby girl! She is very tall for her age I know...just like I was! I am only 5"4' now, but was taller than all my friends up until 3rd grade.
Anyways...MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! It sure snuck up fast this year didn't it?
