Dearest Elza,

Mommy & daddy still miss you tons. Things have changed a lot. Daddy still talks about you and has tears when he does. We think about how you would have been our big girl this summer, you would have been 3.

Your two little sisters are growing up strong. Please stay by them. I know you are there sometimes because of the way they look into the air and smile and laugh. Keep Uncle Jonesy company, and his baby angel too.

Thank you for coming into my dream last year. I don't know where I walked you to, but thank you for letting me see your beauty and the calmness of your world. I will always be here to guide you. Just come to me and I will always be there.

This memorial day we are going to be decorating your grave and setting your headstone. Your sisters will put their handprints in the cement.

We sent balloons up yesterday with messages to you. It was hard to let them go just as hard as it was to let your body leave the room. We moved things around at home and the place feels new...I realized yesterday that I am still holding on tightly to you and I'm trying very hard to let you go. It hurts very much but I know I will be better if I let you go. I miss you so much and I know you want us to be happy. All I ever wanted for you was for you to be happy. I hope you're happy. Its now been over 4 years since youve opened my eyes to the world. since I was a little girl I have dreamed of having twins. the day I leared I was having twins was the sadest and the happiest moment of my life because I had no clue till the day you were born. To this day I havent missed a day to where I havent thought about you. you have a 3 year old sister Rayne and also another sibling on the way. Dear Elza,

Wanted to revive my old posting for messages to my angel, you.

I pray that you are happy where you are, and that you have enough people to take care of you, that God sees to it you don't miss me as much as I miss you.

We missed the future in one another, and I still feel cheated somehow, that you can look down from God's great playground, but that I can't see you. All I can do is believe that you live in a better place.

There has been so much that has happened in the small family I created with your father. There has been so many great things you have missed, but I am happy that you haven't had to hear or see the things that have happened since you died.

There is a distinct happiness in my life that I never knew, an acknowledgment of the quality of life, the preciousness of a moment or a day, and that there are no real bad days.

I miss you. I miss not being able to watch you go to pre-school this year, or to bring home your first painting. But you have been the watercolors in the deepest painting of blue water with a pink sky... painted forever in my heart... my memory of knowing you, for being your mother on this earth for four days.
