Well Mikael's first birthday was last Saturday. It went pretty well.
It was quite warm so that was nice. It was elmo themed, I made him his own confetti cake with frosting with his name on it and ordered another cake from Costco. He made a mess of the frosting, but he did not like cake.. he didn't like it at a neighbor's birthday either. I dont know if it's because he doesn't really eat sweets or what, but he still made a big mess.
We had all of our family there. He got some neat toys--he really likes this old school tug along telephone he got.
It was kind of rushed because my nephew's birthday was that day too so my family had to rush out to his party... I refused to make Mikael share his birthday.
