Default MIL Hospitalized

Just received a call from my SIL that MIL (72) was hospitalized.

They think it was either a heat stroke or TIA. DH will be going tomorrow to see her. He has the day off work. I have to go into work before 0700, so may get off early enough to go too.

They are about 1 ' 15" away. She is in a small town hospital, but they are good, caring people . If she was severely ill, they'd transport her to my hospital.

Care to know what occured? Grrrrr! They had just been to the doctor - things were going well.

They stopped for prescription refills - MIL stayed in the car with the windows open.
Then, they stopped at the eye doctor - MIL stayed in the car with the windows open.

It is really, really hot here - 90's this week with bad humidity. What were both of them thinking?

Steve and I were just talking about his parents earlier. Hoping they would stay in the air conditioning. Steve said, of course, they'd stay in the central air and out of this nasty heat.

Bless my SIL's heart for being closeby and handling things. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Please keep her in your prayers!
