I have 2 bad habits that I want to stop. Late night eating. Like midnight, 1:00 am. And pasta. Not just once a week...like 3 times a week, and a ton of it. I probably eat 3-4 servings of pasta by myself.

I don't know what my hang-up is. I have successfully cut out buying junk food like chips and cookies and cakes. Just this week, my daughters reminded me that it's been over a year since we bought a dozen donuts. lol at them for keeping track. So I did buy some donuts for them because they've been so good, and treats are ok.

But what's my deal with pasta? Why am I having such a hard time cutting THAT out? When I first decided to start eating healthier, I didn't think pasta was going to be my challenge. Oh well.

Why not try whole wheat pasta and sauce with added vegetables? We are big zucchini fans but I dont suppose it matters. Shredded carrots, onions, mushrooms. Anyhow, then the pasta meal would be healthier. . . but I think you have to stop eating 3 or 4 servings of it!

My late night snack is popcorn. It's a whole grain but I can't stay up until 1am. My 'late night' is at 8pm!

My major problem is fast food eating. I am in school, opening a buisness with my husband, and I have a 3 year old! We eat out a lot! I can not find the time to cook!

We used to be that way until we had 7 mouths to feed. But buying frozen food you don't have to cook but can just microwave is even healthier than eating out. Or at least less calories. Would that work?

hm...I had 2 large helpings (I won't even estimate the serving proportions) of macaroni salad Yummie!!!

Other than that, I've eaten well & continued jogging my 2 miles a day.

eta: Oh yeah, I also found a treadmill on Craigs List for $50. It's only a 1 horsepower that only goes up to 6 mph, but heck, it's better than nothing on those raining, busy, or snowy days. No excuse to miss my run now!

That's awesome. I'm lobbying for the bowflex myself. But space is a serious issue here.

Well, I had a talk with hubby, and he's going to take over with the kids when he gets home so I can go for a walk alone in the evening. Yippie. I hope it really happens.

By the way - I have a bowflex, and love it. We don't have room to unfold it right now with the cradle in our bedroom, but when the baby moves in with her sister, I look forward to using it again. I really saw a difference when I used it regularly.

Well ladies. . .I lost my first pound last week. I'm only weighing myself once a week and I reall am not planning on sharing my weight as I don't think that it is THE most important piece of information when looking at overall health. But nonetheless, the small victories should be celebrated! You can check out my latest entry here. Let us celebrate your victories with you. . .go ahead an brag on yourselves ladies!

This weekend and into next week, I'll be answering questions that I've gotten from readers about mission possible. So if you have any questions you'd like me to address in a blog feel free to PM me or leave them here.

I wish I had the money for a Bowflex! I guess I am just going to do the good ol walking thing around the block! Lately, we have been cooking at home and we have been staying away from the Drive Thrus! My husband is so excited when he comes home and sees a home cooked meal! Maybe if I keep this up, I'll get my Bowflex!
