Default Mommy and baby are in Physical Therapy!

Yep we are. I have been going for about a month now. I injured my back putting Robert in the car in the carrier. I'm doing a lot better, but my little Robert will be going to a PT at the Texas Children's Medical Center. He has torticolis... as I had posted earlier. He doesn't have it bad, but they want to make sure it is taken care of.
I am dreading the whole session tomorrow. I know he's going to freak out. He really doesn't like the stretches we do with him at home. I'm probably going to need a valium before it's over with!
I'm so scared for him. I know they will know how to work with him, but try telling him that!
Wish us luck and say a little prayer for us.

I was in PT for my back (same reason...that stupid car seat) Does it hurt right under your shoulder blades? Thats where mine hurt allll the time. We got smart and just got one of the seats that stays in the car...its a convertible one so she will be able to use it forever....

i hope you feel better...i dont have much advice, but i know your pain! And Im sure your lil man will do just fine

Robert did so well today at his PT appointment!!! He did cry some but it was more like a "I'm annoyed... stop touching me" cry.
His torticolis isn't very bad. And the flat spot isn't bad either. We'll go every week for therapy. And in a month they will fit him for a little helmet that he'll have to wear 23 hours a day till it goes away. Most likely 4 months. It is a bit scary but a fixable problem.
There was another baby there 8 months old with the same problem only his was severe. I felt so bad for that little boy. He's been in therapy for over a month.
As far as my back... we are making progress. I go Mondays and Wednesdays to my PT and Robert goes on Thursdays. I hurt my 2nd and 3rd vertebrae... lower back. It's a herniated disc. I've irritated it before I was pregnant.
So we are rolling along! Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers! I made it through today calmly!
