ok so they are no where near regular but i am now getting them on a daily basis and they are starting to hurt. I promised DH i would go to OB but everytime i go in they just hook me up to the monitor and say that they are too mild to be concerned with and they dont check to see if my cervix is softening or thinning. My dr has already told me that my cervix is shorter than it was the last time he checked me and these contractions make me nervous. I am afraid I will go too early.
I think you should go a.s.a.p. and like Valorie said-DEMAND more tests. If you are this worried, I really think you should be somewhere they can monitor things more closely.
I really hope everything is alright. You got me extremely worried and concerned here...Please give updates if you can!
I would go get checked and demand they listen to you & check out everything. You know your body better than anyone and if you sense something i snot right, you deserve it being thoroughly looked into.
If i keep getting the contractions every day i will be going to OB my dr wants me to go in only if i have more than six an hour. Does anyone know how long your cervix is supposed to be? I dont know how long it is supposed to be i just know that mine is shorter than it was at the last appt.
Oh Kristin.....I hope your babe stays for a bit longer...I would go in as well...your paying these people...there in no reason for them to turn you away...I would demand to be seen...you know your body best..HUgZ
