M/S Any Tips?
Hi Guys,
Anyone any tips on how to help yourself from feeling sick the whole time? I am sitting here in work and I feel like I am going to vomit everywhere (TMI) I think I would prob feel better if I was actually getting sick.

Mints I hear work well.
Also some maternity clothing stores like Motherhood Maternity sell "Preggy Pops" which are designed to reduce nausea. http://www.threelollies.com/
Also I know 7Up or Sprite helps calm your stomach. Saltines also help.
Best of luck!

Saltines are crackers. Just regular salted crackers. Ginger Ale helps, too. Although, nothing is helping with me this time!

Ginger. Real ginger. It's not the tastiest stuff in the world, but it works.
I went to a health food store and got ginger chews and real ginger ale. Both of those seemed to help.
The key is to find ginger ale with real ginger in it---there was none at the grocery store so DH went on a hunt to find it.
For me, it helped to make sure my stomach was never empty--constantly eating. If I started to have an empty stomach or get hungry I felt sicker than normal. Granted, the LAST thing you want to do when you feel horribly nauseous is eat, but if I could force myself to do it, definitely worked!

I use the ginger chews too, and just suck on them. I've heard (but not tried) that lemon flavored lollipops help. It's also true about never having an empty stomache - try eating small, little meals instead of 3 big ones. I find that a small glass of milk helps me.
Also, take your prenatal vitamins right before bed. And use a cool compress on your forehead.

Haha! Tracey, that's funny about the lemon cordial! I always tried to eat things that taste the same coming up as they do going down! I know I'm gonna throw up no matter what, so I might as well try to make the best of it!
