We woke this morning and ate a hearty breakfast and left for the waterpark around noon. Got there and had so much fun!!!! The kids were on the lazy river and going down the big slides and playing in the kiddie pools and all. Around 2:30 I had all 4 of them in the Lazy River and as we were getting out and going back to the lounge chairs where my ex (older 3 kids father) was I noticed a bit of camotion near the enterance. Next thing I know there was a police officer driving up and my ex told me that there was a teen boy in the kiddie area under the waterfall groping the little girls.... I was like WTF???? Just 15 minutes before my kids were in that exact spot!!!!
I can not believe that, that could happen like that... I would have never thought...
Well we left right away!! I didn't want me kids to be there anymore. We went to Roadhouse and ate Lunch/Dinner.
Now we are going outside here in a few minutes to watch fireworks.....
what water park were you at?? I go to adventure Island all the time...boy would that scare the crap out of me! Good lord sometimes I would what the hell is wrong with some people! Glad most of your night went well! Happy 4th!

I was at Calypso Bay down here in West Palm Beach. This park is about the size of the wave pool over to the enterance of Adventure Island... maybe not even that big.... well take the sand area and the volleyball area out and that is this waterpark, It is very small. 2 slides, 1 HUGE pool for laps, a lazy river and a big kiddie area. Thats all.
Oh I grew up at Adventure Island!!! My sister worked there most of the 90's and I practicaly lived there!!! I love that place!!!
Gosh I had my first real kiss there too on the rocks.......memories.... how fast can I get off topic!!!!! man I am a softie for memories!!!!!!
Good lord! That would scare the hell out of me and I would definitely not be hurrying back...but then of course it might be like that at any water park so..

My boys saw a lot of fireworks. We ended up over my ex's parents house ( : ) and they have a lakefront house, so it seemed as though everone was all around the lake shooting up really nice fireworks. ...they liked them, plus we all had a couple of our own. All in all not a bad day, although I really wanted my spa day!!!!!
So, true! I remember for a while there about a year ago- seemed almost daily the news was reporting some sicko that had kidnapped some little girl. You have to watch your kids like a hawk!!!
