Default My Albertsons trip, including a FREE Milk Promotion

This was at an Albertsons, LLC store in Louisiana. The one on Airline in Baton Rouge.
You get a catalina for free milk for each 3 boxes of GM cereal you buy and some are 10 for $10 this week. I think the limit per transaction must be 3 catalinas because I bought enough in one tranaction to get 7. But, only 3 printed.

I went to Albertsons today for only the 3rd time, since my local store closed back in July. I was drawn in by the big 10 for $10 wyb 10 deal. The deal includes GM cereal. I kind of messed up on the first transaction. I meant to get 20 boxes of cereal. But, ended up getting 21 and 3 of them were not on sale and rang up at $3.50. So,came up short on one group of 10. Anyway, I got 3 free milk coupons from the first tranaction. I hadn't even noticed the signs on the door and the shelves. When I got a refund for the 3 boxes of wrong cereal, I used the money from them to buy 10 more boxes and got 3 more free coupons. The first transaction also generated a catalina coupon for $2.00 off any 5 GM cereals. So, with that and 2 of the $0.75/2 blinkies from the shelf, I ended up paying $6.50 for the 2nd transaction of 10 cereals. The 2nd transaction also generated 3 catalinas for free milk and the $2.00/5 coupon.

Their ad had 85% ground beef on sale for $2.49 wyb 3 pounds or more. I intended to buy a package. But, when we went to the cases, that ground beef was actually priced at $0.99 per pound. The deal was so good that we got 6 of the 3-lb packages. $18 for 18-lbs of 85% lean is a really nice deal, especially with July 4th coming up.

Also, I got a raincheck on Jan 28th, back when the Murray Sugar Free Cookies were 10 for $10. I hadn't been back before this week and assumed the raincheck was no good. But, I still had it in my wallet and asked customer service. They said their rainchecks never expire. WOW!!! My raincheck was for 20 packs. I was happy to be getting 20 packs for $20, especially since they're more than $2 each everywhere. But... when I went to the shelf, there were $1.25 off 2 tearpad coupons on the shelf. So, using 10 coupons, I got 20 packages for $7.50 or $0.38 per package!!!

A great shopping trip!!

Wow! Good job. How nice for you about the rainchecks. Our Albie's always puts a date on them (3 months).
