I was very excited that DD never took a pacifier and she got the hang of BFing really fast. However, now she uses my breast as a pacifier to calm herself down at night. She's been waking every 4 hrs and nurses, but I'm sure she uses me more as a pacifier to get back to sleep, since she only nurses a few minutes. I need help in getting her to not need me to sleep! I try just rocking her and "shushing" her, but she just cries and cries. I don't want to let her CIO but DH seems to think that's the only way. Any suggestions!?!? And she won't take a real pacifier!
