Default My child has epilepsy

Hello my name is Lisa and I am a wife and a mother of 2 wonderful boys. My older son is 13 and my youngest is 9. My younest son has epilepsy. He suffers from several different types of seizures. This past year he was medically housebound which meant that his teacher had to come to the house to teach him becasue he was having so many seizures. Today he still suffers from daily seizures but is doing better then he was. He is due to go back into the hospital June 8 for a few days to be evaluated for possible surgery. Our family has been on a non-stop rollercoaster ride. However, we still manage to remail positive and happy. Through this experience I started a local epilespy support group with another mom. I also wrote a educational childrens book on epilespy. It is the kind of book I wish was available when my child was diagnosed. If you or anyone you know is interested in this great book you can order it at www.authorhouse.com click on the book store tab and put in the title Through His Eyes or the authors name Lisa Loiodice. Feel free to send me an email at ny2ga67@aol.com
