Default My children perfer one parent more than the other

My daughter is a daddy's girl. She is 3 1/2 and her daddy soes all of the fun things. He takes her on tractor rides and to feed the cows and plays with her when he is in the house. I on the hand also play with her but I have to cook supper and clean at some point in time. I also handle all of her needs like bathing, etc. We have fun times together and I let her fix my hair and put make-up on me. However, smetimes she makes comments that hurt my feelings. Last night she was saying "I want you out of here (the kitchen). I only want my daddy!" I know it my seem silly. How do you deal with it when a child perfers one parent? My son is 2 and all he wants is me. He cries and won't let his daddy hold him if I am in the room. How can we have more of a balance?
