Default My dh says we're moving to Canada. . .

. . .for the health care. I guess he just watched "Sicko" last night.

So where should we live?

Our 4-plex is worth 225 000$...a house around here is about 400 000 and that's cheap...Is that like NY?

My vote would be to move to Prince Edward Island, if you aren't wanting to visit family often. If you like rural well kept farms mixed w/ awesome coastal views, this is a great place. You could have a few cottages on your property that you rent in to tourists.... Can you tell we've dreamed about moving there?

Of course, if you have certain health issues, it might not be the place. Last time we were there, I read that the dialysis machine leaves the island in the slow season.

I just did a quick online search for houses in my area and the average price for a 3 bedroom house was £295.000.

As an citizen of the USA, would you be entitled to Canadian health coverage? Would the Canadian government cover residents who are citizens of other countries?
