My husband, George, at the age of 36, had a heart attack and underwent quadruple bypass surgery a little over 2 years ago. He is staying healty, eating right and such and the doctors said he could go 10-15 years before having to do the bypass surgery again. Is there anyone out there that has had experience with this, especially at such a young age? Aura

I've no experience with this, but I just wanted to give you an online hug. What a horrendous thing to have to deal with and worry about! I'm glad to hear your hubby is doing well and taking great care of himself --- if only all of us ate right. I can't imagine worrying that someday he will need to go through that surgery again. And to have been so young the first time around.

Thanks for the hug! It was a very trying time, for both of us but God pulled us through and now every day is a blessing. He had gotten to watch his daughter grow and has even taken some time to be a stay at home dad which she just loves!! Another blessing is that we both quit smoking, he quit the day I put him in the hospital and I quit the day he came home. (2 1/2 years now) It is tough and I do worry but I have to believe that God has a plan for him and us and I am just thankfull for each day we have! I hope God blesses your family as he has mine! Aura
