I'm so happy my local IGA is doubling coupons up to $2.00 starting 9-2-08 I don't know if its local or nationwide.
They were a local owned store until July 1, 2008 owned by the same family for way over 40 years I quit shopping there in August of 2006 because they quit doubling to $.50 and they went up in prices to be the highest priced store, then closed earlier this year then reopened as IGA with still the highest prices and out of almost everything on the first day of the sale so I went in there a couple of times after they reopened but don't recall buying anything.
