Default My poor baby

We went to a church picnic today and I totally didn't expect it to be SO sunny. One of our associate pastors had sunscreen- but apparently I missed several spots on her.
She's fine. I feel terrible. I am BURNT to a crisp- but I feel SO bad for her. EVen her scalp(between her piggys is all red).

Break out the aloe!

I am so white that I dont tan....I just turn red and then white again but I swear aloe is the ONLY thing that makes it go away faster and helps the burn. I am very lucky that Nevy is half Mexican b/c she tans well and I've forgot sunscreen a few times. I'm sure she'll feel better in a few days but the aloe will really help! Dont beat yourself up we all do it sometimes.

Yup. I've done the "missed a few spots" thing before. You are not alone! It's a good lesson, and I'm always good about putting the sunscreen on correctly now.

Poor baby!

It happens at least once, especially on the scalp, we didn't put any sun cream on Mikey's ears once, they looked like actual crisps the next day.

aww Poor little thing, and poor Mum too! I am so white (thanks to my dads British heritage ) and I always always burn- hardly ever tan. It sucks. Once I had my hair in like cornbraids at the front, and I got burnt, it was terrible

Hope you're both feeling better soon

Am certain there were others with the same thing tonight.

Give her plenty of fluids and the aloe is good.
