Info about the VA is here

And here

And here

What sort of benefits are you looking for? Education? Health?

I think those websites would be a start in determining your eligibility, if any.

Not certain about the details of family members,
but a lot of my retired patients obtain their home prescription
meds from the VA for free. No charge.
They do have to utilize the VA's medication formulary,
which means they do not stock every single medicine
for a disease, like hypertension, only a specific group.

As far as benefits for the Veteran, it depends on their
years of service,
combat,
during wars,
if wounded,
and an honorary discharge.

We have sent many veterans to the VA facilities
for medical assistance,
but it all depends if the veteran
chooses to go,
if the VA chooses to accept,
and if there is bed availability.

Let us know what you are able to discover about family benefits.
