Default My wife's uncle is acting as her "third party"

Have I done the right thing in seeking out a family member to act as my third party in regards to conversation back and forth via email? My wife will not answer the question as to whether she wants divorce or not, so I have this sneaking suspicion that her uncle (a retired social worker for the state of Kentucky, which is where I would file for divorce) is more or less 'representing' her in more ways than just between she and I. I have this feeling he will be there in court should I file for divorce here in Kentucky. She is in Massachusetts.
