Hi I'm Tracey I am the happy mum to 6 children and openly ttc number 7 ,what I want to know is how do you deal with nasty comments? Heaven knows I get enough of them! How do you ladies respond ,or do you just let it go?

I haven't had many. People tend to try to be funny and don't realise how hurtful they are being. SoI tend to get in there first. When I started telling a few people about expecting this one I went it with "Yes we do own a T,V" and "Yes we have worked whats causing them, Thankyou"

i get em alot from old ladies especially after i pick the kids up and hafta run to walmart or the grocery store, i usually have all 4 of mine and usually have either my brothers or my sisters kid because they needed me to watch them for the day and they will all be trailling around with me like im the mamma duck and they are the ducklings and if the old ladies come out of an isle and i stop everyone so they can go they look at me and say.......all they allllll your children miss?.....and i say nah.....all but 1 haha they say oh my bless you.....or......arent you too young to have all those children...and then i tend to get nasty and say, well my husband is a marine fightin for your freedom and this is what happens everytime he goes off to protect you all .....i add another to my family.... or if they keep pushing...i end up say...yeah i am young..but good thing im their mother and taking care of them and not you huh? and walk away......i just get tired of it......i mean really? who are they to judge because someone has a hand full of kids? were not taking food from their plates or money from their pockets.....get over it

I am having baby #4 and so people are very open about saying that is alot of kids. FIrst off, its my business on how many children I have. I'm taking care of them, not them, so with the rude comments, I tell them how it is. If you want seven children, then God Bless you and no one has the right to judge you. People really need to just mind their own business. I wish you and your family the best.

I come from a big family, when we were kids we wee always asked if our parents owned a tv? I think the amount of children you do or dont chose to have is your business! And thats what i'd tell people

Mummy of 4 ,if I'm not being rude ,howq old are you? ,when I had 4 I was 29! and thank you to everyone who replied it means alot to know that I am not alone!

Im 29 and expecting num 5 and no its not rude if a lady asks another lady her age.....but its rude of a man to do so i look younger tho so does hubby....i guess thats why we get the comments

I saw a program on TLC last week with a family that had 17 children. You know what? If you can afford them, and you love them, then why not? And I think other people make obnoxious comments because they are jealous!

I'm having # 4 and I get the 'you'll have your hands full' comments (well in fact they say that when they see my two boys ;D) and I also got told to watch TV in the evenings...lol! Why do people think that they are the first to say that...I might start saying (in a really sarcastic voice) OMG that's so funny...I've never heard that before' ;D

my favourite reply to them is that we are trying to outbreed the idiots in the world! the 17 children was that the duggar's if so they have 16. I'm on a site with other mum's of large families and 6 is a small number . It is nice to see others adding to their families though.
