Ok so yesterday was DH's birthday and I got up and cleaned the house and wiped down walls and then got dinner made for his little party. We just had about 10 people here mainly his brother and sister and their significant others and kids. His dad showed up and hasnt been around for awhile....

But back to the point. I was in a rush to get things done so I was moving pretty quickly and for a couple of weeks now I have been pretty sedantary to keep myself from getting sick. So yesterday while I was running around I noticed that I would get a little cramp on my lower right side like along my hip/pelvic bone but it would end with a pinching stabbing sensation on my cervix. My friends want me to go to the ER. We are all very open about whats going on and since the cramping and pains started I have had increased discharge. I have not checked my own cervix because I am on a no BD order during the first tri so I dont want to irritate my own cervix by checking it. These pains have continued. They are not painful enough to get me to stop what I am doing but when I am walking it is enough to get me to kinda slow down.

Well you know your body better than I do, but its sounds like you just overdid it and need to rest a bit. If the pain is not bad, but just uncomfortable..and it were me, I'd just take it easy for awhile and see if it lets up any. Isn't the sciatic (sp?) nerve right around where it hurts? Maybe you aggravated it too much?

Ok so sorry TMI since these cramps had started the pinching sensation has gotten more noticable and I have noticed a lot more watery discharge. I am just scared because I know when I had my pap done before I was pg they had made the comment that my cervix remained slightly open after having Jaxon. It is consisdered fingertip dialated and I am not sure if everything there is ok because they didnt do an internal exam at my appt.

Does the discharge smell sweet? If so it could be your water but it could just be extra discharge. I had tons of discharge while pregnant

It's normal for the cervix to remain open after your first baby. Mine is between 1-2 cm's.

Yup i had a c section but when to 7cm and im finger tip aswell, once it opens it never closes completely again

I went in to the ER because I was cramping more and got nervous. I went in and waited 2 hours the dr came in and checked my BP and listened to the baby HB was 168-171. They said my cervix was noticibly softer but nothing too serious. My dr was there for another reason and said that they would keep an eye on it and I am on orders to go in if anything gets worse. They pretty much told me to take it super easy for the next three weeks and stay super hydrated.
