my LMP was Jan. 4th Before that it was Dec. 2nd . On FEB.6th Took a test -Neg.(First Response). FEB.9th a very very faint line+Pos(Dollar store brand) FEB.10th-Neg (First response) I bought another brand of test Its Clear Blue Easy Has anyone of you used this one??? I am Hoping and Praying no Period Been trying for 10 months now with Ovulation Calendars.. When should I call the Dr? DO I keep waiting til one says I am or period shows up How long do I wait?? I would be very greatful for any and all advice Thanks in advance!
There are a couple of things. I got my BFP on a dollar store test. Depending on what time a day you took the test could result in your negative. I usually use the cheap tests like the 4 dollar walmart or the cheap dollar tree tests. I would say if you think your pregnant go to your dr. They will draw some blood and say if your pg or not. If your not then the dr will probably give you a script for provera usually it is 10mg for 10 days and a period soon follows. Takes a LOT longer than any TTC'r would want.
Another thing is if you got that faint line before the time limit was up and then followed with a negative test three days later you could have had a chemical pregnancy. I had one in December and then fell pg in january. Chemical pregnancies there really isnt a baby so it is not called a miscarraige even though it feels that way to any woman.
I would talk to your dr about it. As for the Clear Blue Easy I only have used the digital ones because I was excited to see pregnant on the screen.
I've used the clear blue ones with the words; so much easier to read than the lines. And like Kristin said, also depends on what time of day you take the test too. Most see to get better results in the morning. You could try another test and if it shows neg, then call your dr to see what's going on. Best of luck to you hun.
