Default Need help for early pregnancy

Just a background, we have 3 kids aged 9, 7 and 5. When our youngest turned 1 we started ttc number 4. We had 4 miscarriages in the 3 yrs we tried.

We basically gave us there was no medical reason for our issues....we are now building our house, the kids and I are settled and I gave up alcohol last Dec for health reasons.

Today I did my 2nd test and I have another faint line..just like the ones I got before. I am tired, sore back, weeing all the time and crampy..

I have no idea when my LMP date was - my Af is due this week...I had some spotting which I have when I am pg also...now nothing.

Because we were not trying to conceive we just dtd once last month and I guess it only takes once.....

I really can't believe I could be pg...and if so there will be 6 yr age gap between this one and the youngest. We are all settled and will have to go back to baby kingdom...

Can you answer me this....have you heard of situations like this where the couple gave up and then got pg, and also with big age gaps?

And the big question is, can you advise me what I should be asking my dr about regarding my recurrent m/c, re progesterone or baby asprin or whatever else I need to make this one stick....

I am so worried that the inevitable will happen...thanks so much x

Congrats to you on your pg.
I don't have any helpful info, but I know the other ladies will.
I juast wanted to tell you congrats.

As far as other ladies gettin pg after giving up and big age gaps. Yes, I have heard it a lot.
I knew of a couple who tried and tried to have a baby, finally gave up and adopted. When they were in Russia picking up the baby, she found out she was pg!!
My mom's friends daughter tried for years with her husband, and had a lot of misscarriages. They decided to adopt. And a year later got pg. (no longer trying)
Age gaps are common too. My sisters are 20 and 15 years older than me. My brothers are 18 and 17 years older. I wasn't an oops. My mom was freaking out about her babies growing up. My sisters kids are all 5 years apart. I wouldn't worry about big age gaps.....it will all work out fine.
I hope the other ladies give you some great adviceon what to ask the dr.
I hope this one sticks for you!! Best of luck.
Stick little on stick!!!!

Baby asprin & progesterone dont work if you start them after a pregnancy b/c they take time to build in your system though some Dr.'s will give it a try anyway. Sending you sticky vibes!

As for age gaps...HA my mom is the queen of them. I'm 25, my sister is 17, my other sister is 16, my brother is 9 & my youngest sister is 5. There is 9,8,15 & 20 years between me and them. My mom was 17 when she had me & 37 when she had my little sister. She also had 2 m/c between me and the next.

I have a 5 yr age gap between my kids. I've noticed that I'm not as stressed trying to get the kids ready and DD actually helps me out to get her brother ready some days. My husband's family has several large age gaps. His one cousin is going to be a JR in High School and her brother is starting Kindergaten next yr.

As for the m/c, all I can say is talk to your dr about it. But I wish you the best of luck hun and hope this one sticks!!
