Ellamae had a fever of 102 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I took her to the doctor on Thursday. They did a strep test and in was negative. They said she had herpangina. The main symptoms are blisters in the mouth and a fever. It usually lasts 3 to 6 days. Saturday she seemed fine. Just really crabby and refusing to nap! Sunday she got a rash all over her trunk, it looks like little pink bumps, it feels slightly rough. The rash makes me think strep but that was negative. This morning the rash looks better. Any ideas or suggestions?

She is driving me nuts, I know she is sick so I feel really bad for her. She cries and follows me, so I pick her up and try and comfort her and she pushes me away, so I put her down and she cries and follows me and the cycle goes on and on and on. She is exhausted but won’t rest.
