I voted for MaKaia, but I do actually prefer Makaia (without the uppercase k). And overall I prefer the "aia" ending as opposed to the "iya".
I love it! it's so pretty but different. Did you make it or find it? Does it have a meaning?

I originally thought that it was a name that just came to me but the other day I was watching the Duggar tv show. And their new baby's name is Jordyn-Grace Makiya Duggar. I still like it but I liked the name before I knew that it was used before

ditto. I think she'd have to constantly tell everyone about the uppercase K otherwise.

I don't like the Mc spellings they are too hard for me to pronounce. I like Makaia or Mikaia. You could even do Makaya or Mikaya. Have you looked in a baby book? What is the most common spellings? I drive a Kia so the the kiya's kind of remind me of my vehicle. Good luck!

You can also go to the Social Security website and find out if any baby names were in the top 1000 names over the past 100 years. It will even show some of the alternative spellings.

It depends on how you want it pronounced - Mikaia sounds like a long A sound, and Makiya sounds like a long I sound.
Also, I don't care for any names that start with Mc. It reminds me too much of McDonald's and all their Mc items - McNuggets, McChicken, McCafe, etc.
