Default New CVS Coupon/ECB POlicy?

I was in, usually a coupon friendly store, last week, in KC. And the shift manager told me that they got memo that they are only going to be able to accept one coupon from now on...I had used one 4/20 and one ecb when she made this comment. I guess I should have followed up with her more about what she meant, but she said see, on the ecb it says one per customer (or not to be combined with other cvs coupons). Has anyone else heard of changes coming in the program?

the changes that i heard about coming in september was so that you could use as many as you want without needing manager approval on the larger amount ones. Atleast this is how my favorite store manager made it sound. We'll see, hopefully mine is the one thats right!

I've seen lots of rumors of changes come September on other boards. The biggest(at least for me) being that they will start only taking the $/$ after coupons(and maybe ECB) and that they won't be able to take expired coupons at stores that do now. I had a talk with an assistant manager at my store and he said he didn't know anything about that. I asked him to please let me know if he heard anything so I will report if I hear anything different.

If these changes will take place in less than 2 weeks we all need to know ASAP, so if Neuman is still with us, please let us know something definite. Thanks and please respond!!

The board I read them on said it was posted on another board straight from a CVS employee. I hadn't been here in a while and thought maybe it was here, but I guess not. Now, of course, these may just be rumors or maybe they are just specific to a store/region. A few people did report being told similar things my cashiers too, though, so changes may be coming. I told the manager I talked to the same thing about letting me know soon since I have a lot of expired ECB I would have to use up.

My veteran cashier told me that starting Sept. they will now be able to take all expireds! They currently do not accept expireds. They are getting paperwork and having meetings this week to learn the rules. Go figure....

Darn! I just got a manager that accepts expired ECBs and have a ton now. I sure hope that part of the rumor is false.
