Default New development in Stem Cell Research

This sound promising.

Making stem cells from skin cells, if I read this correctly.

I think those are live skin cells, not the flakes. So there is a risk of cancer, but I don't understand how.

This would be fabulous if it can be developed.

Stem cells are amazing...and I hope this is really "something" because WOW!

I know someone that had non-hodgkins lymphoma and had stem cell replacement done, using her own stem cells somehow...anyway, she's been in remissions (totally cancer free) for 4 years.

I am very happy to see this for lots of reasons. I hope that this type of activity really spawns the further funding of developing ways to use and develop stem cells without funding embryonic research. You can use stem cells from cord blood too. . .or at least they're working on it.
