Default New double coupon policy

Ralphs has now brought the infamous new coupon policy to the Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino county areas. The same one that Starlight and other San Diego people told us about , back in May. It is supposed to start on June 25.
Coupons up to 50 cents will double as normal, coupons 51 to 1.00 will only double to 1 dollar, coupons above that will be at face value. My biggest fear is that Vons will soon follow. We need to now do as Starlight advised us back when it came to SD area, write those lettters and let them know how you feel about it!!!
Starrlight are you there? I need an address .

Default Ralphs still advertising their old coupon policy

For anyone that wants to raise the issue and try to get them to accept coupons with their old policy through 9/16, I just found the following.

In the back to school savings circular that is posted all over the stores, dated 8/20/08 with prices effective through September 16, the back page still has in big letters "DOUBLE COUPONS EVERYDAY" which we all find insulting given their new redemption policy, and borderline deceptive.

BUT, and here is the important part, the fine print at the bottom of that page still says "If a coupon exceeds $1, only $1 may be doubled". This was their old policy, but they are apparently still saying that policy applies in this circular.
