Default New low cost items

I've noticed that , lately, my local Super Wal-mart seems to have more really cheap items in the frozen section. They are now stocking the $1.00 boxes of Popsicles again. I've been looking for the no sugar added variety for many months and they have finally returned, along with some oddball pops and lower priced less-popular national brand varieties. They have these Grandpa's Oven desserts for $1.00 that I like. I've tried whole bran or oat bran(whatever) variety and was less than impressed. I've also had the Blueberry Streusel Coffee Bread and I liked it enough to buy it again tonight. Tonight, I found the Ultimate Plush Pippin Pumpkin Cream Cheese Pie for $1.00. I'm not wild about pumpkin pie. But, i'm interested in what it tastes like with the cream cheese and it's a full sized 34 oz pie. Cheap enough to chance a try. These $2.00 entrees also caught my eye tonight. I didn't pay that great attention. But, the boxes were a nice sizes and they had things like pasta entrees, etc... Wish I had noted the brand and varieties. But, the price and size have put them on my list of stuff to try.

I baked the pumpkin cream cheese pie the other night and it was delicious. I don't know if it was the cream cheese. But, it had a nice, smooth taste, instead of the usual sharp taste that usually turns me off of pumpkin pie. I was going to buy more tonight but all were gone except one in a crushed box. I guess I was too slow. Tonight, I got some of the $2.00 frozen entrees. They're Milton's Restaurant classics. I got the Homestyle Chicken with white and wild rice (roasted chicken tenderloins and vegetables with white and wild rice in a rich cream sauce) and the Roasted Turkey Divan (roasted turkey medallions with penne pasta and broccoli in a rich cream sauce). They're both 24 oz. I'm eating the Roasted Turkey Divan right now and it's pretty good. It could use more turkey pieces. But, is still pretty good for $2.00.

I found some new ones today in the freezer cases.

Snapps Snacks & Appetizers Crispy Creamy Mozzarella Sticks: $1.00

Snapps Snacks & Appetizers Cheddar & Mild Jalapeno Pepper Bites: $1.00

Otter Valley Disney Breakfast PizzOmelette: $0.50
- I didn't realize that this has soy in it. It says it's the double cheese variety made of a soy/cheese blend and 100% egg white crust.

The Birdseye Steamfresh veggies are cheaper here than the sale price anywhere else I think. $.98 everyday at my Walmart. With the $1/2 coupons that are always out that's some cheap veggies.

I went tonight and they were clearancing out the Granpa's oven stuff for $0.50. The bran ones were all gone, I didn't like them anyway. But, there were 4 boxes of the Blueberry Streusal coffee bread, which I really like. I took all 4 and 2 bags of Great Value Pizza Favors that were $0.75 a bag. I didn't know Wal-mart had it's own version of pizza rolls and the bags are 40-ct. A much better value than Totino's.
