so. . .I've been reading these boards over the past few days. . .I've done a lot of the ovulation calculations. . .and think I'll probably ovulate around the 21st. . .let's hope so b/c my hubby leaves to go on a camping trip the 25th. I may have to go harrass him on his trip,

Hi everyone. . .I've been perusing various other websites and finally decided on this one. . .seems like there's a good group of ladies here. . .
So. . .I'm very new to this whole trying to have a child business. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and have always used b/c, but have recently decided that the financial timing won't ever be *perfect* so we might as well see if we can bring a little one we know we want into our lives.
I've recently lost about 40 lbs and my period has regulated. I think that will make it easier for this journey, although who knows, right? Doc says she thought I have PCOS and the weight loss probably helped me get rid of it. . .
Anyway. . .my question is I haven't quite figured out exactly which days I'll be ovulating. . .I've been regular for about a year (35 days) but I always get cramping 2-3 days before the flow. . . which do I count back from? Should I just count on having intercourse every other day forever (my husband will love that !) Am I just confuzed??
Gracias!

Lunabug, you sound a lot like me.... I lost a bunch of weight (32 lbs) and feel fabulous.... I just got off bc and am new to the whole guessing the ovulation window myself. Here'a link I found that explained ALOT! http://www.babycenter.com/calculators/ovulation/

Yeah, I sat down last night with all the calendars of when my period started for the last year. . .it goes anywhere from 30 days to 42. I'm thinking this will make things challenging, but we'll see.
